Danny Whitehead – Bass Guitar / Vocals

 

Danny Whitehead began his musical career as a drummer, making his transition to bass guitar a natural progression. Early in his career, he performed with several road bands, playing country music venues throughout the Midwest. He later secured a house gig with Detroit-based band Derringer, where he performed for several years before joining the regional touring country act The Liberty Beach Band.

 

During his seven-year tenure with The Liberty Beach Band, Danny toured extensively, serving as national support for major artists while also headlining regional fairs and festivals. An accomplished vocalist, bassist, and songwriter, Danny later partnered with John McAfee to form Whitehead/Mac, independently releasing their self-titled debut EP.

 

 

Danny’s songwriting style and musical direction closely complement those of JT Hayden, creating a strong creative partnership and adding depth to the band’s sound. His contributions as both a performer and writer continue to play an important role in the development of the forthcoming follow-up album, currently in production.
