


John McAfee - Guitars/Guitar Synth/Vocals
John McAfee is a veteran guitarist, songwriter, and performer whose career spans more than four decades across rock, country, and pop music. Beginning guitar at age seven, he went on to tour Europe as a teenager before performing throughout the Midwest and South with several regional rock acts. After relocating to Toledo in the mid-1980s, John gained national exposure with The Affair, earning artist endorsements from GHS Strings, Washburn Guitars, Laney Amplification, and Evans Guitar Products while recording albums, appearing on MTV, and touring internationally, including a headline tour of the Soviet Union. He later founded the original rock project Big Game, opened for numerous national acts, and became a staple of the Midwest music scene through projects including Bonkers, MAS FiNA, Rodney Parker & Liberty Beach, and Whitehead/Mac. Throughout his career, John has shared stages with artists including Willie Nelson, Charlie Daniels, Kansas, Robin Trower, Parmalee, Blackberry Smoke, Vince Neil, and Cheap Trick members Robin Zander and Tom Peterson. Still actively performing and recording today, John continues to showcase both original music and classic rock and country performances throughout the Tri-State area.
