JT Hayden – Singer/Songwriter/

Guitarist

Born and raised in St. Louis, Missouri, JT Hayden discovered his passion for music at an early age. At just seven years old, JT picked up a guitar under the guidance of his father, beginning a musical journey that would shape the rest of his life. By the age of thirteen, JT was already writing songs and recording original music, developing the storytelling style and authentic sound that would later become his trademark.

Years later, JT began recording the songs that would eventually become his debut album, Long Way Back to Memphis, in his home studio. Shortly after completing the demos, a chance meeting with acclaimed producer Kevin Hamilton would prove to be a pivotal moment in his career. Hamilton, known for his work with major artists including the Dixie Chicks and Los Lonely Boys, and for producing multiple Grammy Award-winning records, recognized the potential in JT's songwriting and offered to produce the project.

At the time, JT had not yet assembled a full band, requiring the use of professional session musicians to bring the recordings to life. The result was a collection of songs rooted in Southern Rock, Country, and Americana influences that showcased JT's soulful vocals, heartfelt storytelling, and passion for authentic music.

In 2017, JT relocated to Toledo, Ohio, where he set out to build a band capable of bringing his music to the stage. In 2019, that vision became reality with the formation of the JT Hayden Band. Since then, the band has become a recognized force in the Toledo music scene, building a loyal fan base through energetic live performances and a growing catalog of original music. Throughout the band's evolution, drummer Tim Currier has remained a cornerstone member, helping provide the foundation for the group's signature sound.

JT's career has continued to gain momentum through a series of notable accomplishments. The JT Hayden Band signed with Spectra Music Group, earned opportunities to perform on radio broadcasts, and secured opening slots for nationally recognized artists including Craig Morgan, Randy Houser, Steve Augeri, and the Artimus Pyle Band. JT is also featured on the upcoming television series Best Band America, further expanding the band's reach to audiences nationwide.

Drawing inspiration from legendary Southern Rock acts such as Lynyrd Skynyrd, The Allman Brothers Band, Marshall Tucker Band, and modern Southern Rock leaders Blackberry Smoke, JT has developed a sound that honors the roots of the genre while delivering a fresh and contemporary perspective.

Today, JT continues to write, record, and perform with the JT Hayden Band while preparing for the release of their highly anticipated follow-up album. With a growing national profile, a dedicated fan base, and an unwavering commitment to authentic songwriting, JT Hayden is steadily establishing himself as one of the Midwest's rising voices in Southern Rock and Country music.
